I was burning through way more tokens than needed talking to ChatGPT and Claude in my own language, so I built a small tool to dictate in Russian and paste clean English text instead. That one hack turned into a full voice-to-text app — translator, screen OCR, dictation history, presets for different fields. Runs locally via Whisper AI, no subscription, pay once.
