tty7

tty7 is a terminal workbench in pure Rust. A background server owns your shells and panes, so sessions survive quitting or rebooting — no tmux needed. GPU rendering on Zed's gpui plus Alacritty's VT core: 2× the throughput of Alacritty, Ghostty, or Kitty. Agent-aware: detects 26 coding-agent CLIs with live status, notifications, and git context; agents can drive tty7 via its CLI. Native SSH: profiles, SFTP panel, port forwarding, jump hosts. Open source (Apache-2.0) for macOS, Windows, Linux.
